The Isard Circle

14/10/2021

The Leys has a long tradition of providing bursaries to pupils from all backgrounds. The Isard Circle continues this heritage.

Members of the Isard Circle allow a younger generation to enjoy wonderful educational opportunities at the heart of a caring School. By making a donation of £1,500 or more in a year (£1,200 + Gift Aid), you are part of the solid foundation of our fundraising programme, crucial to its success.

Working with our charity partner the Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation, it is our ambitious challenge to support two pupils in each year group of the School through Leys Community-funded places. The pupils will be struggling with circumstances beyond their control: they may be vulnerable, or else from a loving home facing real hardship. Over 100 boarding schools across the UK are welcoming RNCSF pupils, thanks to a careful matching process to ensure children flourish academically, personally and emotionally at the right school for them. The 96% retention rate is evidence of their success.

As a sign of our gratitude for their commitment, Isard Circle members are invited to an annual event, as well as receiving regular updates on the Gift of Education programme. You will also receive an Isard Circle pin and be named in the Donor List (with your approval).

You can become a member of the Isard Circle by setting up a regular gift online, or contacting Millie in the Development Office at development@theleys.net.

"By giving, you will be showing your support for The Leys and your belief in our core purpose: to provide a world-class education to the pupils with the most potential, regardless of their financial means or social background" - Martin Priestley, Headmaster
